ABTIM alway tried to use the design for communicating the functions of the VideoTIM device. To develope a good design you have to make drawings, models, prototypes and tests with the users. And then you have to start this procedure again. |

To create a design for a new men-machine-interface means giving new answers. The designer Prof. Ulrich Reif worked out a special touchable design with different surfaces for different functions. The housings are soft-edged with a clear geometry. |

The pc-workplace of blind people often has a ploblem to handle with the big number of different devices and cables. Prof. Ulrich Reif created a solution by using two levels at a roundet desktop. So all devices are easy to reach. |
